..enter the heart of the woodland ..where all sorts of real and imaginary creatures live.. come with me on a voyage of discovery….with this enchanting poem sweet Sally Omar .. wrote for this painting…................................................. / “In the heart of the forest / much to my delight / when i tiptoed there / late one night / i saw them dancing / the faeries one by one / laughing and hugging / having so much fun / a yellow unicorn / came by my side / and a beautiful faerie / told me to go for a ride / we rode through the forest / and a leprechaun was there / all dressed in green / with locks of red hair / the trees were swaying / as everyone gathered / love to this community / was all that mattered / it was magic to see / the forest this way / lit up with magic / and faeries’ play / in the heart of the forest / ...by Sally Omar…..................I painted this of the Langley woods Norfolk UK & used a sponge for the undercoat then touched up the trees with a brush then added pastels…my first watercolour/pastel painting experiment on Ingres paper was inspired by the poem ” Woodstock have a passion for all things ‘Tree’ ..Save the TREES ...featured in ‘Creative poetry challenges’& Lifeline’ ....
This was taken using a 5×4 medium format camera. I processed the negative myself. The print was processed in sepia and scanned to digital. These dirty coffee cups were found at a cafe right on the beach at Semaphore in South Australia, Australia, in summer.

/ Along the road across from the railroad tracks in south-central Kansas are these giant pots, it wasn’t until I took the pix and blew it up that I could really see what they looked like and the watering pitcher on top. Clever idea.

These dirty coffee cups were taken with a 5×4 medium format camera and tripod. The black and white film was developed by me in the darkroom and printed. I then scanned the print and changed it to sepia. I then added a layer of texture too. These were taken at Grange Beach, at the cafe, in South Australia, Australia. This shot was featured in the Happy Haven group, the All Things Coffee group and the South Australian Artists group.
