i spent all day ..8 hrs long shooting in Bikaner, these old ‘tables’ are a common side and the men play cards on them, isnt that fantastic! if you like old buildings ,old doors ,old anything well this is the place to go, away from the hectic streets and bazaars in the little narrow windy streets you will see things like this, quite and peacefull, colors and cows and open gutters…Bikaner, Rajahstan

Pure beauty
by ingeOn the road to Barmer, we passed many small beautifull villages , in one i really like to stop cause the houses where amazingly decorated. While i was making some photos this men walked towards me and tried to see what i was doing. he stood next to me for maye 10 minutes, it was really funny cause he just stood there. With South Africa’s rich sea life, calamari, fish and crayfish is a must on the menu / Our starter will be: Prawn Cocktail: Seasoned, juicy cooked Prawns with salt, pepper, garlic and a touch of Lemon Juice served in a halved perfectly ripe avocado pear Main Dish / Snoek on the braai / This is the ultimate traditional seafood recipe! All South African friends need to make sure that they have had a snoek braai sometime in their lives. It is one of those traditions that go down in your friends memories as unforgettable. / Ingredients: / Melt ½ a block of butter / Add a small can of apricot jam / 2 teaspoons of crushed garlic / Method: / Open your fish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Lavish the butter mixture on the flesh. / Cover your braai grid with heavy duty tin foil and turn the corners up to make a ridge around the outside. / Place your whole fish on the braai grid. Baste continually until the fish is cooked. There is no need to turn it. Serve with salads and bread. CAUTION Snoek is a bony fish…let your friends eat it carefully. Keep bread on hand in case a fish bone does get stuck in a throat. A bread ball will normally push it down. Desert: / Melktert (Milk tart) / This is a milk custard – the dessert has its origins in Holland and was brought over by Dutch settlers. It is a very popular South African dessert or tea time treat.
