A different perspective on the world. Also a nice seasonal picture. It’s a picture of glass globes that have been hanging in the front window at home and I took the picture through them into the winter wonderland outside. It’s not a recent picture, it was taken two, maybe three winters ago. Thought I’d put it up and let it get some exposure! I’m really happy with how it turned out! I hope you enjoy this piece. “Harmony” is a mixed media production (ink, pastel, acrylic) on canvas textured paper, the idea at first was to create a feeling of stained glass…i have a love of stained glass, and transparent things….i love light filtering through…and how light plays….i was looking for a name for the painting today….and ‘Harmony’ just seemed to go ‘hand in hand’ with these three friends

A different perspective on the world. Also a nice seasonal picture. It’s a picture of glass globes that have been hanging in the front window at home and I took the picture through them into the winter wonderland outside. I’m really happy with how it turned out! This is a re-submission of the original as I’ve edited this picture to include the words “Merry Christmas” to make it a more attractive (possibly?) greeting card :) I can change the text to anything else, so if you’re interested in some other text like “Season’s Greetings” or “Happy Holidays” or “Happy New Year” I can do that. Just let me know and I”ll be happy to oblige! :D I hope you enjoy this piece. Any and all comments welcomed and appreciated! Religious art inside of the Cocathedral St-Antoine-de-Padoue in Longueuil, Quebec built between 1884 and 1887. This beautiful construction of gothic inspiration has been designed by two architects, Albert Mesnard and Henri-Maurice Perrault. There are two asymmetrical towers in front, a very rare occurrence in Canada, although there are a few in France.
