Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Red Cap Fungi – taken near Grasmere, Lakes District, England. Whilst walking in the woods, I came across this lovely red fungi. Grasmere is such a delightful place to take a stroll.

Balanos was one of eight daughters of Oxylus and Hamadryas, a Dryad nymph born bound for life to an Oak tree, such that, when the tree died, as did Balanos. / From the world of the great Oak, we are left with a carpet of moss – millenia of parallel evolution, dependant on the waters of life… When an Oak is no more, the 600 plus species which depend on it usually follow.

This is a Huer’s Hut on the North Cornwall coast, it was used to spot shoals of sardines, when spotted the cry would go out for all the fishermen to set sail to catch the fish.

My interpretation of a cloud-burst at Ramsgate Beach, Kent, England… Original / hand Painted / Oil-on-canvas / 24 X 20 inches This painting depicts the five elements, Earth / Water / Air / Sky and / Fire ...of 7 days I had at Ramsgate, Kent…in June 2004…I could make it to the beach just once…later, I also lost my camera that had Ramsgate photos…so one day I decided to paint from my memory…and here it is…

This painting I’d done during October 6 – October 30, 2004 in England and was displayed at the Slough Library, The Oriental Gallery Windsor, between November 1, 2004 to November 27, 2004 and at my studio which was formerly called ‘Arty Facts’ in Delhi between January 1-30, 2007 and was published by The Times Of India and Metro Now, two leading Delhi newspapers on a few occasions. (An image of this painting and newspaper clippings are reproduced here as well. The original painting is with me. / This painting depicts “ floods in the fields”. In October 2004 when I did this painting, while I was staying at Dr. R.S. Bola’s house at 46, Amberley Road, Slough, SL2 2LR, England,,, I had no way of knowing, in the wildest of my imaginations that England could ever see floods, ever. I had no notion at all…THE FLOODS CAME TO ENGLAND IN THE SUMMER OF 2007, WHICH IS HISTORY AS WELL… /
