Skater Girl Card click here / Here’s Skater Girl trying out her brand new home-made deck!!! Skater Girl design is taken from an original ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal painting on canvas textured paper by Karin Taylor. The design has been digitally enhanced with a few minor touches in Photoshop. I recently broke my left elbow in my skateboard debut…...it hurt…...so, big points to the rest of you skateboarders out there for sticking with….but my skater girl days are over bigtime!!! lol

Jess n Jumbo are friends… / Jess is a Jungle Girl and walks on stilts…. / Jess met Jumbo who is a baby elephant, he was orphaned / Jess adopted Jumbo and they lived happily ever after in a treehouse deep in the heart of the Jungle Jess n Jumbo were created on brown paper, with a white gesso striped background…overlayed with chalk pastels and outlined in black felt tip pen… / Her cheeks are pink texta and i’ve used quite a bit of charcoal for the shaded areas / / /

I think deep down I have a bit of a thing for pirates. When it came time to do this shoot I seemed to have an awful lot of pirate accessories just lying around waiting to be used. It was good to get it out of my system. Only problem is now I can’t stop thinking of excuses to take more pirate photos. Free workable cut out doll included with every card! AdelaCamille gave me the idea for this, she left a comment saying that one of my other images reminded her of the paper dolls you used to get in magazines, you would cut them out and dress them with the paper clothes.. I used to cut out the lady and make my own clothes, so this is my version, with clothes i would like to wear..:)
