  • Industry of the Victorian
    by Vestque

    US$3.99–US$106.40

This work is to promote the new group Victoriandustrial. What is Victoriandustrial? Victorian with an edgy modern goth, punk feel. Corsets, tea parties, absinthe, Gothic Lolita. It’s subculture baby, alternative decadence. Think tight-laced corsets, decadent tea parties, bloomers, bloomered harlot/rogue, bustle skirts and combat boots. Absinthe drinkers, prince of Denmark, Dandy wretched men in tophat and tales, striped stockings and chains…. Check out the group for more information :P For this work I was trying my hardest to be punky and edgy while really showing off the Victorian style. Lol…Don’t know if I succeeded though…Oh well I had alot of fun making this :P

  • Keeping it Simple
    by Karri Klawiter

    US$3.42–US$91.20

This is Erigeron philadelphicus, aka Fleabane, cute lil daisy like weed, about the size of my thumb. I’ll probally change the name later. [NOTE: I did finally change the name from Erigeron philadelphicus to Keeping it Simple, lame I know, but better than it’s scientific name, right?] I like the simplicity of this picture, but it almost seems like something should be written in the left side. But I just don’t know what. I think it would make a nice card. “

  • Thinking of you . . .
    by Rosalie Dale IPA

    US$3.71–US$98.80

Old magazine print was found in an op shop (already framed with a faux stressed finish!!) ... old rose, a leftover from my birthday a few months ago … old book, part of my treasured collection. Film grain and a texture added to age the image … I’m looking for the nostalgic feel again (still!) ... You are invited to visit my Bubblesite for a more comprehensive viewing of my images. • 56 Blues
by John De Bord Photography IPA

    US$4.28–US$114.00

I suppose you can say I have always been a sucker for old cars, especially Hotrods. There is something about the design and style of the years gone by, that todays designers in the automotive world have lost…the subtle curves of the body line, the way the trim fits along the body, and the overall composition and style….rolling sculpture. Elegance and style which is no longer created by the manufacturers but now recreated by those who spend many a late night out in the garage building a Kustom, wielding the torch, throwing the lead, and hammering the seams. Art it one of it’s most purest forms. Creativity personified. This is quite an older shot but remains one of my favorites, the color in this and the reflection caught my eye when I first captured it. I am not a huge fan of tri-year Chevy’s, but this ‘56 was just to good to pass up. Hope you all like it as much as I do / —-John / —-—-—-—-—-—-—— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. • Sunday Driver
    by PipPipHooray

    US$4.70–US$125.40

SUNDAY 2ND NOVEMBER, 2008 I saw these two on the road today and just couldn’t resist taking a snap. I love how you can tell just from their silhouettes that it’s an old couple driving in the car they probably dated in! Literally this guy was a Sunday driver as not only was he a slow driver… but it was on a Sunday! FEATURED November in That’s Funny Group . .

  • Winter Branches
    by Samuel Durkin

    US$3.59–US$95.76

  • Captured on an Indian Reservation in New Mexico, I have always loved 49-51 Ford Coupe’s…rare, they make one of the best Kustoms ever…and if I coulda found the owner and had a tow truck, I would have towed this all the way back home to Colorado with me! What a scene…...processed in HDR…thoughts welcomed!

  • And this is what it’s ALL about. Sure, show cars are nice, with their shiny paint, but are NEVER driven! Welcome to the wildside of the Kustom Kulture/Rockabilly/Greaser/RatRod lifestyle! Where they are driven year around in all kinda of weather, where blood, sweat, and guts are spent many a late night in garages all over America, downing cans of PBR, welding and hammering, making it all fit. Homegrown hot rodding at it’s finest! Made to go, and made to run your show cars ass off the road! It’s a Model A with a vintage 50s Hemi, bullet holes are real, from when th ebody sat in a field for some 50 odd years. Beer Keg in the back works as the gas tank, and straight pipes make this thing louder than Hell’s Chariot! If Satan had a Hotrod, then this would be it!!!! Processed with my won Kodachrome PS script for vintage slide coloring Thoughts welcomed!

  • Take one 1960 Hotrod Chevy Pickup at a car show in the rain, close focus and crop in camera, and then shove it thru custom settings in LucisArt and use the channel mixer for B&W, and you get something that looks like the textures will just eat you alive! I really like how this one came out…there is just so much to see in this….. / Thoughts welcomed! / —-John

This example of classical Greek architecture is from the Acropolis in Greece. This architecture was constructed between 421 and 405 BC. This is a part of the temple “The Erechtheion”. The Erechtheion is an ionic building and named after a hero of the myth, “Erechthus”. This architecture in this picture is the south porch of The Erechtheion. This is one part of the porch of the 4 maidens called “The porch of the Maidens”.
