Acrylic on masonite. Stairway To Heaven was one of the first abstracts that I ever painted and is still one of me best-selling prints to this day.

This is Hope my Lurcher, on a snowy febuary day in 2007, she wasn’t that keen on the weather but did oblige me with this quirky shot. I have another Lurcher called Grace as well as Rubicon and Renegade the Ferrets who complete the team, Hope has the nose for finding quarry and Grace has the speed to fill my freezer. Here are the two dogs playing in the snow.
Rapeseed oil fields surrounded my cottage in the summer of 2007, everything was turned yellow by the pollen, but what a photographic opportunity!
Polly Joke is a local name for a remote beach on Cornwall’s north coast, it is my favorite beach for beach-combing after a high-tide and provides me with plenty of photographic and sculptural material. Here are a few more of my photos taken in Cornwall me ‘ansom.
A tiny flower with a huge amount of detail, although not a rare flower, not many people have seen a wild one.
Someone once wrote- One night a man had a dream. / He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life. / For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, / one beloning to him and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, / he looked back at the footprints in the sand. / He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. / He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. / This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. “Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, / you’d walk with me all the way. / But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. / I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.” The Lord replied “My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. / During your times of trial and suffereing, / when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, / it was then that I carried you.”
A bit of a commercial shot this one, but… it does make a fantastic card, I sell these as cards for £2.oo each offline in the real world.

And so thy path shall be a track of light, like angels’ footsteps passing through the night.” / Words on a Church Wall in Upwaltham, England (I got this quote from talented RB artist Marny Barnes.)
Genesis 9:16 “Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
Acrylic on canvas. God gave this to me this afternoon. Sometimes the temptations of this world can be overwhelming. Hold on to the Truth and trust in the promises of God. Be blessed! /

Acrylic on canvas. Inspired by 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. With thanks to my very special friends Olga and Stacy Lee for their continuing encouragement, support and fellowship.
Acrylic on canvas. For anyone who is struggling today as I am…God, help us to persevere. This is my prayer today. Hebrews 10:35-39 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, “He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved. Hebrews Chapter 10

September 22, 2009. Best seen on full size This sweet little church, at the corner of Triadelphia and Sharp Roads in Glenelg, Maryland, stands empty. Probably built around 1900, it was most recently used as the home and studio of a local artist who has since gone to live in the sunnier climate of Mexico. Happily, the congregation of this beautiful little chapel didn’t die out, as so often happens, but instead grew too large for this structure and built a much larger church not far down the road. I was quite excited to have the opportunity to tour here July 26, 2009 when the realtor was holding an open house, as I’d driven past many times and had always wanted to investigate!! Image taken with the handheld Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens, shutter 1/250, aperture f/8.0, exp -.33, iso 500. Post work included hdr from 4 images at +3, +1, 0 and -2 evals … all duplicated and adjusted in Photoshop. Subsequent Orton technique was applied in PS, as were three textures at various blendings, and the brushed-in clouds. Included below is a capture of one of the windows in which, if you look carefully, you can see a reflection of the church bell … / which was directly behind me as I shot the window … My thanks to Princess of Shadows on Deviant Art and Ghostbones of Flickr for the great textures and to Obsidian Dawn for the cloud brushes.
Acrylic on canvas. Revelation 19:11 My Interpretation. Then I saw heaven standing open, and there was a white horse! Its rider is named Faithful and True. He administers justice and wages war righteously.
As Christians, our hearts break for those who do not know Christ as their Savior and because of this we always keep them in our prayers night and day. Phillipians 3:18,19 For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.
Acrylic on canvas. Inspired by Ephesians 4 – Unity In The Body Of Christ Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Textured abstract. Oil on masonite board. “In my Father’s House, there are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2
