Karin’s storefront iAN’s storefront This has been an amazing experience to be a part of….an enormous thank you to Matt Mawson who has tirelessly and generously worked over the past 2 days to bring this little book into being….. I could never have done it without you Matt! And of course a huge thank you to the amazing writer and friend of mine, one of those great Aussie characters that just keeps on keeping on, keeps on getting better with age…. that is iAN Derrick I first met iAN through a journal Matt wrote about one of iAN’s books, and since that day, we sorta hit it off….. I talked to iAN about my father and he also was inspired to write another short story called Understanding Harry and correct me if i’m wrong, but i think he may have been inspired to write a story that reflected some of the goings on with Matt’s four legged friend also. One day I got an email from the amazing iAN, saying although he thought my father should be the one to tell and publish his own stories, he’d had a little idea and brought it to life in Understanding Harry and not long after this i received a second email saying that he’d done it again, but i would have to wait til the morning when he loaded the story to red bubble, and he and I and hubby all savoured the moment….....waiting with baited breath, until upon waking in the morning two days ago, I was thrilled to discover this wonderful story had been written. A story about my characters…involved a certain Mrs T….but i will tell you no more, as it’s a must read…and you can read it over here She Sells Sea Cards by the Sea Shore Thank you iAN and Thank you Matt i am eternally grateful

  / I just found out i sold a large canvas print of Girl on Red Wall / I have thanked the bubbler personally but wanted to share the great news!! / This is only my 5th canvas print sold in the nine months that i’ve been here on red bubble, and i couldn’t be happier!! I no longer have the original painting of Girl on Red Wall She was purchased by a doctor and his wife who were friends of mine up on the sunshine coast (australia) I hope she’s happy wherever she is ….   Man i just got the shock of my life….... i had no idea how many hits this image has had in such a short time…. it’s by far my most popular image according to views…heck… 5850 views – it’s been on RB for 4 months…. no other designs of mine have had nearly so many views and the ones that have had between 2-3000 have been on since Feb this year, around 8 months (or double the time) Admittedly this image has had a lot of fluff n stuff with advertising in the local rag…and in Sydney as it won a place in an art competition, but i only just realised how effective the advertising must have been…. for me that is just the most incredible success… the funny thing is though, that it’s never sold… only sold to myself :))) twice :)))

  Hello to all….. I have been doing some thinking – dead silence fills the auditorium, and everyone rolls their eyes….uh oh….lol!!! oh no, she’s been thinking again!!! Yes!! I have, and my idea is this…I am gonna put forth a weekly journal called Karin’s Weekly instead of all the little journals….in it i will put any sales and any news…rather like a blog….. It will save a bit of time for myself, and hopefully for you, as you won’t have loads of journals to check out popping up in your activities list from me, just the one every now and then, with as much juicy stuff as i can squish out!! :D —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— KARIN’S WEEKLY ISSUE ONE Sales Update Thnx so much to the following people for these purchases: 1.   Today i got two more surprises!!! Firstly my new dear sweet bubble friend udonchow purchased my Hidden Treasure card from my ! and I thank you so much udonchow, i hope you will really like it very much! Secondly a dear old friend i used to play with when i was a young girl has reappeared into my life again through Facebook, her name is Priscilla (or Pris for short) and we both had fathers in the Police….we used to dance ourselves silly to Abba….lol….well, today Pris purchased Little Green Teapot long sleeved tee from my ....and i am really tickled pink!!!! Thank you Priscilla :D I hope you enjoy wearing it!!

  MIGALOOMAGIC is my new concept gallery at Red Bubble…below are the very first offerings! My Definition of Magic / Adjective – Wonderful, amazing or incredible, ie as in ‘a magic moment’ I think it’s very important to define magic, as for some people this is a stumbling block and something that conjures up images of black magic, darkness, and other practices which i don’t subscribe to… for the record I’m a christian who doesn’t head to sunday services each week, although i have spent most of my life doing that, it’s not where I am at this stage of the journey….and I’m not a perfect one by any means, I’m quite an unusual one by christian standards, and many feel i don’t meet the standards, but that’s ok…God and I are like this :D we’re tight, so it doesn’t matter what others think on that score…and I guess it’s unusual for me to use the word ‘magic’ when ‘magic practices’ are forbidden in the bible… but it is the where I am coming from that matters to God…He knows I don’t mean it in that way…so already, i apologise to any who may find it offensive or inconsistent, but I intend to keep the name as to me it only implies magic in this case as “wonderful, amazing or incredible, as in a magic moment”. / migaloo-pink-magic / / migaloo-blue-magic / migaloo-in-antarctica / little-lost-orca / rainbow-orcas / little-lost-orca tshirt / Moo Cow Sunrise / Little Moo I’ve been busy with a new concept…. / I wanted to bring parents something special to help them connect with their children… / I am busy creating a series of digital wall art, especially for children…for their bedrooms.
