OK, OK – I’ve held off for as long as I can….. Combining my love of industrial landscapes and my awesome 1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, I just couldn’t resist combining the two, so I re visited my favourite location, Sommerville Street, Sunshine and set up the new shot. Here the 57 Cadillac showcases the beautiful angles of the wrap around back windscreen and customised fins in natural light. I love the austere, clinical design feeling this image evokes. To me it’s pure design in all aspects of landscape through to automotive design.

Tell me about your red boots. / These boots are made by Alannah Hill (who is not particularly one of my favourite designers but I fell in love with these boots at first sight!) I think they are just perfect! I love the colour, the brooch and the red ribbons. They are just so me! Unfortunately they are not the easiest heel to walk in so I don’t get to wear them too much, and I like to save them for special occasions so they have a bigger impact on the people who see / them! What’s the story behind you getting them? / Like all of my shoes, they were an impulse buy. I just can’t help but whip out my credit card when I see new shoes! My friend was working at the store where I purchased them at the time so I got them a little cheaper which helped sweeten the deal! So, why exactly do you love shoes so much? / I need one in every colour to go with my outfits, every style for different comfort levels, moods and seasons. Shoes to go with stockings and classic vintage heels that every girl must own! I can’t part with shoes, they have to be broken beyond repair or stolen from me. Due to the success of my Convoy design I have created this group of design along the same theme. This image is based on a photo i took driving round the race track at Spa in Belgium. I wonder who it was that left this beautiful old car behind in the middle of no where? This mystery is what I love about these old wrecks, so many bits and pieces taken from the old girl, maybe to help another breakdown get going again? This beautiful wreck was about 50 klms out of Mildura, on the way to Mungo National Park, on the unsealed and rough road. Canon 50D, 15mm. Available large, and best viewed large!
