have always wanted to capture a big plane landing but could never be there at the right time or having the wind blowing in the right direction. The low clouds helps bring the plane closer than usual….i could almost touch it….hahhah. To see a hugh metal flying over you at approx. 200kph is…...priceless. The jetfuel, the noise…...Perfect. I am NOT a plane enthusiast , but it is fascinating to watch. Sydney “Kingsford Smith” Airport Boeing 747 landing train plane truck car chair Transportation
Hammered refers to a kustom that has been chopped (the roof lowered) and this baby sure did! One killer kustom Merc. Processed with LucisArt Thoughts welcomed and check out those nekkid lady spinner hubcaps! :) —-—-—-—-—-- / More of my work can be seen on my website at http://jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. I love 58 Chevy’s…one of my favorite cars. An old shot that I was able to salvage because of my editing skills improving. Needless to say I am happy I was able to! Now generally as a rule of thumb, I would KO the powerlines, but this time I left them in intentionally. Why? Well I started to KO them then went back, after noticing that without them, the telephone pole is just kinda strange and they add a sense of perspective in this shot. Processed with Photoshop, LucisArts, Virtual Photographer, about 7 layers, and custom color retro actions using curves. —-—-—-—-—-- / More of my work can be seen on my website at http://jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. Like waiting for judgement say, there they stood, in all their glory….40s era Fords, Oldsmobile’s, Pontiac’s, Chevy’s….awaiting the rodders touch to be sculptured in lead, and reincarnated into a new life as a hotrod. Sadly, as much as I love this place, it is now forever gone. I did many shoots at Classical Gas in Eaton, Colorado….and now it is just a memory….it is forever closed as the owner has recently passed away. I was lucky enough to have been here as often as I could…preserving it forever with my camera. And while it is an older shot, it seems just like yesterday I was standing there taking this….time stands still…...much as it did for the classic 40s Detroit iron….... Thoughts welcomed, print to come. Processed with PS, DCE HDR, and LucisArt. —-—-—-—-— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com
My second rendition of this shot…..I will miss this place as it has now closed down…sad….at least I was able to capture it while I could. HDR and LucisArt used in processing John

Featured in Trams and Buses and the Trains group. Thank you for your support. Nikon D200 / Tokina F4 12-24mm Lens (my favorite lens) / 7 Exposures / Processed in Photomatix and CS3 This is the interior of Trolley Car 432B in Tampa, Fl. This trolley runs from the Ybor City area down to the Convention Center. Tampa’s first electric streetcars were introduced in 1892. The streetcar reached its peak of popularity in the 1920s. In 1926, almost 24 million passengers were carried. The first line shut down in August 4, 1946. The first streetcar system used the Birney Safety Car and, probably, other streetcar types. Streetcars returned to Tampa in 2002, when the 2.4 mile (3.9 km) long heritage line was opened. In its first year of operation, the streetcar carried 420,000, 20% more than projected. In 2005, 434,498 passenger used streetcar. A new 1/3 mile (1/2 km) extension is being planned. It will connect Franklin Street and the Fort Brooke parking garage.
