He enjoyed listening to the traffic. It was like music; each vehicle with it own, individual pitch, harmonizing with others to produce an…

The came to me one night as I waited for the traffic light to release me from the off-ramp. I was struck by the myriad of unique sounds of the traffic racing past on the highway.

  • Trafficking
    by Arletta

What started with a complaining whine and a flurry of exhaust, once pistons fired, roared into life as a decadent afternoon, and sped on,...

The opening lines of this popped into my head, by way of me thinking about Mom telling me the definition of decadence the other night, while I was in the shower. lol Read that first part, carefully! Only, the lines have since changed, shifted and grown. Still, it was a short shower, made shorter by necessity of me praying to remember (if it was worth the remembering) and running off to find my keyboard. This is all very spur of the moment, definitely rough draft; but, I think in this Jehovah helps me as he will with work done for good cause (more often than not, especially when asked). But, I cannot say “Yes, this was inspired by God.” or “No, it was not.” for that matter. I can say, I prayed to remember it, if it was worth remembering, I usually forget, but I did remember. If you want to know more than that, you shall have to consult the other Person in the conversation. Anyway, I thought, aft first it was to be a part of a story Now, having seen more of it, I think it is the story. There are two ways to go. One is to add it into a book of poems, and the other is to create art to go with it and make it all the writing (except the needed technical stuffies) that there is. I think I like the latter idea best, but, we shall see. Suggestions on word play, grammar, punctuation, etc. are accepted and, when nicely done, appreciated.
