  • Again, another shot from Paso Robles – “Portrait of a Hot Rod Couple” – no that’s not Chris Isaak in the front seat…. however, I think he might have spent just as much time on his hair! The amount of beautifully painted machines around the couple is jaw dropping for me…. I’m defintely coming back here next year!

  • I’m a Pepsi drinker…but couldn’t pass up this shot. / I’ve had a few requests for sales on this one… / Sorry…RedBubble says “NO!”

  • A wonderful little store full of nostalgia, tucked away in quiet little town. / I could look at the pictures and signs for hours here.

  • My second rendition of this shot…..I will miss this place as it has now closed down…sad….at least I was able to capture it while I could. HDR and LucisArt used in processing John

  • A recent digital work on CS2. I love Rat Rod culture. This image was inspired by WWII aircraft and some work I’ve seen recently that develops USAF themes on Hot Rods.

  • Same T shirt design as the original one I did on white background, but it looks better on a black shirt in my opinion. / In case you hadn’t guessed this is the Super-charger as seen on the much modified Australian Ford Falcon XB muscle car from the Mad Max films. Haven’t seen it? Well you’re missing out on a real treat. Go and rent it! The caption is the line from Jim Goose, Max’s best mate in the film.

  • A black and grey charger with skulls in the background and grunge design.

  • Vector drawing of a Porsche 356

  • Vector illustration of a customised vw beetle inspired by how my mate Chris’s bug “The Fuhrer” looked in it’s old guise.

  • Vector illustration of a custom VW beetle.

  • Max’s Bad-Ass Interceptor from the action flick Mad Max…for some reason, these sell like hot cakes in Australia…LOL!

  • a gloomy sky and a sinister car boot

  • 1969 Torino

  • Location: Rancho Cordova California / Technique: HDR, Layering & Fractalized / Workflow: HDRd in Matix – Layered in Cs4 – Fractalized / Equip: Canon 5D OG A wee bit late and a couple too many drinks while editing this image. Actually scrolled down most of the color palette and basically did a “eeni meeni miny mo” to select a color (#3c240a) and worked off the selection, hence a very busy & cluttered image. Im thinking this is not gonna stay on the bubble very long. but this image did put a smile on my face because when folks say Dont Drink & Drive, It should also apply to Photographers Dont Drink & Edit!!! Below are the originals along with some much needed clouds from an image I shot in the Philippines.
