  • The Blue Hills stage of the London to Lands End Classic Car Rally, North Cornwall.

  • “OMG! OMG! OMG! This is awesome!! OMG! (Squeels of delight) I can’t believe! OMG the power!! YESS!!! YESSSSS!!!” were just some of the things I said when I first experienced the awesome power of a full spec Subaru WRX. Better than… well you know! :-D

  • An old decaying Mini on a farm near where i live. The Family have owned it since new and hope that they can still restore it back to its former glory

  • Here is a photo i took last year at the South Australian Rally Championship at Robertstown on the triple jumps the cars are doing almost 200 km/hr and are about 2-3 feet in the air

  • Mitsubishi Evolution at full throttle during the Victorian round of the Dutton Rally Series. This event marked my first go at experimenting with panning shots, it took me a while to get them sharp and to decide on what shutter speed was appropriate but in the end I was happy with many of the shots I took :) Click here for my other photos of cars!

  • This was taken as Classic Cars drove back through Gumeracha, Bay to Birdwood, September 28, 2008.

  • Telstra Rally Australia. / These images are between 2004 and the last event in 2006. From 1988 up until 2006 inclusive, this round of the World Rally Championships was conducted in Western Australia. This extraordinary successful event was, in the main, organised and run by some 2000 volunteer officials. Right to the end these officials received world acclaim for innovation, safety and professionalism and were presented with numerous awards including, on three occasions, the prestigious “Rally of the Year”. This calender is dedicated to those very hard working officials without whom the event would not have occurred let alone this calender. I am proud to have been a part of that team. The cover shows: / (clockwise from top left) / Satisfied spectators, Ford Driver Mikko Hirvenon, Finland; Citroen Driver Sebastion Loeb, France; Subaru Driver Chris Atkinson, Australia; Ford Driver Marcus Gronholm, Finland, a happy Miss Rally Australia Winner and Subaru Driver Petter Solberg, Norway. The purchase price quoted is in Australian Dollars. For those purchasing from within Australia the postage cost will be around Aus$6.00. Overseas postage MAY be more. • Rallying at it’s best

  • When drivers had balls! when there were no computer assisted driving technology’s a time when if you made a mistake it meant you and a crowd full of people were pretty much DEAD those were the days

  • This is a great place for photos

  • The Fiat 131 Abarth version. Only 500 homologated to enter the world rally championship. The 131 set the competition alight, winning 3 WRC titles during the late 70s early 80s. A piece of motoring history for the true motoring affectionado.

  • Shabby’s car, piloted by Matt and Karen Martin, exits at high speed onto Bindo Boundary Road, Rally of Lithgow.

  • Another shot from Targa Tasmania. These cars flew around the corner and down the hill. It was an awesome site. Taken with a Panasonic FZ18 For more beautiful images of Tasmania please visit RT Gallery

  • The Mitsubishi EVO 3 of Eastman and Caldwell gets thrown into a corner on the Bindo SS 2 stage during this year’s Rally of Lithgow. Cropped from original.

  • Eastman and Caldwell rip it up during the Gum Valley SS 4 stage of the 2009 Rally of Lithgow. They were driving at pace directly into the setting sun here, throwing rocks and dirt at nearby spectators in the Jenolan State forest.

  • Cropped from original image and given a focal black and white treatment, plus some additional film grain to emphasize the dust and grit….. Eastman and Caldwell’s Mitsubishi Evo 3 heading into a dusty sunset, Rally of Lithgow 2009.

  • Isle of Man Rally, 2002. A Subaru Imprezza driver tackles the frightening country lanes with gusto.

  • I went back to some old photographs that I took while on our first trip to Paris in 1977. These were originally taken with slide film and later scanned. I was curious to see what my new-found texture layering effect would have on them.

  • Taken at Rally Australia 2009. This rally car was on show and not in use. Hope you like the orange treatment I gave it.
