How could i miss this london calling contest. / Having been a resident of a borough of Laandin and having worked in Newburgh street which is right on top of Carnaby street, i’d be mad not to have a go at it. The idea – a suped-up Black Cab dragster, that should get you where you wanna go in no time. Also i was thinking of a apocalyptic ‘mad max’ future london and trying to create the street art and stencils that decorate Soho and other areas of oldie london town.

Everytime I go shoping in Grenade’s openmarket, on saturday morning, I see this old car, a Citroën Diane, very popular fifty years ago among country farmer. / Now, only nostalgic and foolish people still having such a car ! / Anyway they are easier to fix than our new electronic cars ! lol ! Photo took in Grenade-sur-Garonne on saturday morning near the weekly openmarket.

In 2002/3 I lived in Uganda and when I had time made art. This is from a series where I tried to capture the essential things that made up Uganda for me, in this case the ubiquitous Hiace matatatu’s (Minibuses). The process involved taking a picture in 35mm, making a 6X4 print, then using this photograph as a primitive printing block, by scratching into the service and with indirect drawing using windsor newton drawing inks, printing onto 200g Daley Rowney fine grain heavy weight paper, then hand colouring with acrylics, inks and water colour.
