Waxed the car (a rare event) and it rained in the night – ain’t it always the way!. BUT when I looked out I saw this!

this item was created as part of mood board collection for some motion graphics. I aimed for a mix of movement and art leaving the viewer with a feel that the car has driven through the paper…. this work is a mix of (maya) 3d, Photoshop, paint and ink enjoy.

Acrylic On Canvas For those who may not be that familiar with Phoebe, she’s a patchwork bunny doll and the baby of the trio. She enjoys putting on all kinds of quirky caps and hats, she is never seen without them! For an online painting-challenge, we where asked to make an image that would represent Australia! / It interested me, but did not know exactly how I would do it! / I ended up on the site of a couple of Globetrotters! http://www.bourlingueurs.com/ / I scrutinized their photos and found 2 who appealed me very much! / One of Ayers Rock , and one of a crashed car in the middle of the dessert! / I melted them together to one photo! / Mark warned me that I painted “Kata Tjuta” instead of “Ayers Rock”! The representation of this mountain and that derelict car described in my mind how I see Australia! / Beautiful nature and heritage nurtured by the Aboriginals, and the car representing the pioneers, adventurers and technology trying to find its place in that great big continent!
