Not only were the Mad Max movies made there and numerous other movies and advertisements, it is a town full of history and wonderful eccentric artists. This is Peter Brown’s gallery perched on top of a barren hillside as you drive into town. This car was just recently in Street machine, I took this shot at a car show and then got rid of the background and the people standing around it.

My inspiration for this design was based on the Blaxploitation movies of 70s, such as Shaft and Foxy Brown.

Sometimes those days come where your like… I really should take a photo of this shouldn’t I? So I walked across to the road from the bus stop where I was waiting to be picked up. Seeing the sunset through the 80-200 peaked me out. I shot until the card was full and this is the first of 3 images… The special things in this shot 1. If you look closely at the sun it’s setting behind a building and the 2 towers actually make the sun look like it has horns. 2. The guy riding his bike past just at that moment… 3. The stop light and rich colour in the frame.
