  • Again, another shot from Paso Robles – “Portrait of a Hot Rod Couple” – no that’s not Chris Isaak in the front seat…. however, I think he might have spent just as much time on his hair! The amount of beautifully painted machines around the couple is jaw dropping for me…. I’m defintely coming back here next year!

  • Same T shirt design as the original one I did on white background, but it looks better on a black shirt in my opinion. / In case you hadn’t guessed this is the Super-charger as seen on the much modified Australian Ford Falcon XB muscle car from the Mad Max films. Haven’t seen it? Well you’re missing out on a real treat. Go and rent it! The caption is the line from Jim Goose, Max’s best mate in the film.

  • Like waiting for judgement say, there they stood, in all their glory….40s era Fords, Oldsmobile’s, Pontiac’s, Chevy’s….awaiting the rodders touch to be sculptured in lead, and reincarnated into a new life as a hotrod. Sadly, as much as I love this place, it is now forever gone. I did many shoots at Classical Gas in Eaton, Colorado….and now it is just a memory….it is forever closed as the owner has recently passed away. I was lucky enough to have been here as often as I could…preserving it forever with my camera. And while it is an older shot, it seems just like yesterday I was standing there taking this….time stands still…...much as it did for the classic 40s Detroit iron….... Thoughts welcomed, print to come. Processed with PS, DCE HDR, and LucisArt. —-—-—-—-— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com

    by Biker

    US$4.56–US$121.60

I’m something of a motorhead, hence the name Biker, but I also love cars. So I tought I’d have a crack at doing a Hot Rod pin-up. This was my first attempt. / the orginal A4 size paper cramped my style so in the enlarging process I filled the rest of the car in with some airbrush work using photoshop. This too was my first attempt at using an artistic technique via a computer. Rather pleased with the result too.

  • My late Mom Vickie took this photo of a Model A Ford Hot Rod at the local Mountain Blues Parade (Fourth of July) 4 years ago. This Model A Coupe looks just like my Mom’s first car that she got in 1937 except this one has fancy chromed wheels and a huge V8 Engine. Mom’s Model A was a brownish tan color not the hot blue like this one. Mom said she could use the V8 engine and the improved modern brakes because her Model A had a small 4 cylinder Engine and very weak brakes. Ed
