= Brilliant Capture =
by adgrayShe couldn’t speak; acutely aware of every face on her and her need to perform to cover the mistakes; the audience can never know.
I came upon this stunning photo of The Rescue by the awesome photographer Adrian Carmody Over the last hour I sat staring at the image time and time again. Words were screaming in mind to be written words that had screeched into my mind like a fast drifting car as soon as it uploaded !! But Adrian had told the story in the comment box beneath…. how could I write my words when they were so real to the story? / But I could not leave the shot alone! In the last half hour I must have favoured it half a dozen times – fearing that I’d not yet, and viewed it dozens of times! / Finally relenting I added my words with this disclaimer: / To escape this shot I have to write the words in my head – forgive me it is a fictionalization of what may have transpired I urge you to see the image and all of Adrian’s work! / Chookas! X♥X

Based on and Inspired By Anastasia By Jarko / Acrylic and pastels on canvas / / / - / A NOTE FROM THE POET: I thank you all for reading this poem! The moments you (may graciously choose to) take to comment truly matter. I am so grateful to those who favorite the work (especially because it a written work) May I ask you to PLEASE READ MORE THAN ONE POEM / See Journal section of my RB page here for a list of short poems / Words Count listed Please further note that there is a vast spectrum of subjects, issues, and levels of intensity. / / / / I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ADD MY WORKING RedBubble Site to YOUR WATCH LIST --I feel this is one of the highest complements of respect a visiting RedBubbler can give. This is not to under-estimate how riveted my humility feels with each comment. This expresses the reserve of your taste, and the future value of your time. / / - REMEMBER the VISIT The RedBubble Artists and their works of art here.
