  • The lighthouse at Mabou Head. The fishing boats are tied fast and everything is secure as an approaching storm bears down on the little hamlet. Never fear for Mabou light has stood the test of time and weather for many, many years. This painting is from one of my photos. The sky pretty much looked like it is shown here and shortly thereafter we ran for the car as the storm broke upon us. The original was done on Arches 300 lb cold pressed paper and is about 15×22. Completed with Winsor and Newton watercolors. Depicting the stormy sky gave me fits!
