We spent 3 magical days backpacking at Havasu Falls, one of the most beautiful place on our planet.

I had to go back and take another shot of this little waterfall while the yellow Aspen leaves were still reflecting off the water. I usually don’t like taking photos of waterfalls unless it’s an overcast day but this time a sunny day worked in my favor. This little waterfall is in a hard to get to area of Cheyenne Canyon, which is near the famous Seven Falls, and Helen Hunt Falls in Colorado Springs. Canon XTi f/22 18mm(18-55mm) 13 secs.

Horseshoe Bend is the name for a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, in the United States. Accessible via a 3⁄4-mile (1.2 km) hike from U.S. Route 89, it can be viewed from the steep cliff above, forming a spectacular vista. / This image is actually made of 4 pictures taken with my Canon 20D – 17-40mm L lens and stitched together to create this panoramic

This is an image of the Colorado River as it courses its way through the Grand Canyon. The Different lighting that illuminates through out the Canyon and its walls causes a palette of hues always changing and shifting, turning shadows into Gold. This sublime sleight of hand magic truly makes Nature the true Alchemist.

I was here today on the Logan River, in the canyon not far from home. I loved the ‘just now turning’ leaves and magnificent reflections in the clear water… Little Boat and the butterfly wanted to go with me so I shot some pics of them as well… heehee..
