Antelope Canyon. This is actually flopped on its side because I like the wave feel it creates this way.
God promised us no more floods would destroy the earth. But He didn’t promise we would have no more problems, no more sorrows. Then He promised us He would be with us through it all. This is a rainbow at the Grand Canyon, USA
Black Friday and the girls decided to head out at 4AM to shop and I headed for the Grand Canyon to watch the sunrise. Even though it was 15 and windy I stll think got the better end of the deal.
Captured in the cold dark waters of Blue Mountains’ Grand Canyon, near the main abseil. Timing is everything!

The trail is on the right. Aren’t the colors of the river amazing ! / The Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne is the portion of the valley of the Tuolumne River in Yosemite National Park. As defined by the United States Geological Survey, it begins immediately below Tuolumne Meadows and ends immediately above Hetch Hetchy Valley. / The Tuolumne River runs as a somewhat wavy line from east to west. It originates in the high-altitude flatlands of Tuolumne Meadows, just west of the Sierra Nevada’s main divide.
Well I’m back after working some 15 days in a row on an event. Now that I’m done, I’ll get to sleep and mostly try to catch up with you guys. Anyhow, this is another shot of the Grand Canyon taken this Spring during our road trip. Have a great evening. Shot taken on the South Rim (can’t remember the point) of the Grand Canyon National park Canon Xt, Sigma 17-35mm lens
Totally exhausted from it’s long journey (Grand Canyon to North Carolina), this duck just barely managed to drag itself onto the beach to rest. Note the similarities to this Duck spotted at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon: /
This image was captured right after sunrise from Hopi Point in the magnificent Grand Canyon. The colors that morning were simply astounding. Nikon D80 / F9, 1/15, ISO100 The hike to Supai Village (Grand Canyon, AZ, USA) was 8 miles in the rain. Arriving after dusk, at this, Havasu Falls, the water was flowing chocolate. We were treated to many colors, with this being the picture 60 hours later. The above photo piece can be seen in context in an AV presentation you can download here: / Havasupai After viewing the audio-visual, you are welcome to come back here to buy the above photo to hang on your wall.

Grand Canyon National Park, through US National Parks This Image was taken at Yaki Point during a trip to Grand Canyon. Yaki Point is one of the most beautifull lookouts on the south rim and if you ask me the best on during sunrise! / I was there sometime between 4am and 5am in the morning to do some scouting with my flashlight since it was my first day at the canyon. Although I couldn’t see much of the canyon yet the tree you see in the foreground instantly appealed to me as a nice framing. After some more scouting I came back there, set up my tripod and waited, enjoying the sunrise. / I was lucky the strom you see building up on the horizon waited long enough to let the sun through for some minutes. Not much later it was all hung over and snowing. / I love this shot because it seems like everything fit together for me. The time window for this shot was so short and it seems I also selected the right place :-) I came back there the following two days and just didn’t have the same magical light! and after more scouting also didn’t find a better place, at least for me. kind regards, / Michael also available:
This Photo I took before sunset on the south rim of the grand canyon. I went to Pima point which is near heremits rest for this shot! Heard about hopi was great for sunset but If you ask me Pima point or mohavee are the better ones and you are more private there! regards, / Michael

Beautiful travertine falls are just a ten mile hike into the Grand Canyon.
Taken in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA. Pretty much a tourist snapshot of the Falls, which I thought I would share with you ! / A rather crowded place, justifiably so, who wouldn’t want to see this sight ? The Canyon has some amazing colours, and I found the best time was towards evening to be viewed at it’s best. The vertiginous slopes are very loose and crumbly, and I wondered how those trees maintain their perilous foothold !! Shot on a Canon EOS 40D, polariser, tripod, f22, 1/3 sec, iso 100, auto wb, RAW file processed in PS CS3, levels/curves/selective colour adjustments.
