Blood Life Spills O'er Canvas of Death
by Symmetry44Tyrant is s/he, labor resounds / Stroke by stroke morbidity reaps
This poem was written several years ago. It pertains to the artist and the torment many artists can face when trying to create “the perfect piece of art.” / To give so much of oneself for such a selfless cause is very telling of each of us who indulge in such tumultuous undertakings all too often, but in the end, more times than not, it is more than worth the effort. / This was written under the guise that art is an endeavor of blood, sweat and tears, therefore please try and read it in the vein that as we give our hearts, minds and souls in order to create the art that others can and hopefully will relate to in some light, so too seek our own in having done so. It just seems to fit so nicely on this site with all the great art and artists who work so hard to create the beautiful artwork we are privileged to see. Enjoy…

Travel Experiences…more of the photographs from these travels are / “herehttp://www.redbubble.com/people/nkbellani ..”See You don’t do portraits like I do, you just do lines after lines on your canvasses”. He said. His words stuck in my mind like few ever had. I was to name my exhibition at the Slough Library later in November ‘The Lines’. And later in January 2007 in Delhi “Panchtatva-ki-Lakirein” (The Lines of Five elements)

Framed & Canvas Prints for sale - by Glenn Alderson
by Glenn Alderson PhotographyThis is were you can come & view my work for sale as a FRAMED or CANVAS print. GLENN ALDERSON
Framed Prints / Finely-crafted custom frames create stunning art pieces. Frames are crafted from quality timbers in a range of finishes. A white, off-white or black matte surrounds the print to emphasize & bring the piece to life. Premium ultra-clear perspex in front provides a superior finish and means the piece is lighter and easier for you to move without breaking. / High-gloss Mounted Prints / The work you find on RedBubble really comes to life when it’s sitting proud on your wall. Mounted on gatorboard (as opposed to chipboard which can bend and flake over time) for a quality finish. Mounted prints are affordable, ready-to-hang art. / / / Canvas Prints / We’re using Canson Canvas, an Epson printer and Epson pigment inks to ensure a quality product that will look great and last forever. All canvas prints have a water-based clear lacquer applied to them as a UV barrier and to protect the canvas prints from scuffing. It also makes them easier to clean! Mounted on gatorboard (as opposed to chipboard which can bend and flake over time) for a sturdy frame. / About Gator Board / Much stronger than foamcore, but about the same weight. Rigid polystyrene foam core laminated between two face veneers of resin-impregnated wood fiber for use in displays, photo mounting, and much more. Provides an ideal combination of minimal weight and high load capacity. / /

Were These Mere Co-incidents...
by N Kumar BellaniI have a strange feeling that some of my paintings have an element of foreboding…intuition…premonition…some strange connection with some …
Thank you for this feature ‘Masterpieces: Literary Workshop’ Group… / ...the same group of rowdy kids who’d hurled raw eggs on me and my paintings came-up and one of them, sounding more jeering than informing me with any sympathy, said to me that “there’s been a great earthquake and a giant tidal wave in India today…I seemed to have lost my ground and I panicked…worried more about my kids and my family back in India… The rest is history… Tsunami had struck…the TV said….. ...In October 2004 while I was staying at Dr. R.S. Bola’s house on 46, Amberley Road, Slough, SL2 2LR, England, I had no way of knowing that in the wildest of my imagination that England could ever see floods, ever. I had no notion at all. THE FLOODS CAME TO ENGLAND IN THE SUMMER OF 2007, WHICH IS HISTORY AS WELL… ...SO HOW DID IT EVER OCCUR TO ME TO PAINT A TSUNAMI WHEN I’D NEVER EVEN HEARD THE WORD BEFORE?…OR PAINTING ’ A PLACE I KNOW’... I HAVE NO EXPLANATION, DO YOU OR ANYONE ?...

Madness Takes its Toll
by artist4peaceYou Are just a lesson for me / in stretching my canvas. / Preparing , / for a larger portrait of life…...
I wrote this in early 1970’s and it has stood solid for me / every time I have reviewed it for myself. / It was inspired by the split from my 1st love, / due to life threating pressures of interracial dating. Only at 55 and upon experiencing RB , / I tweaked the very last line, adding one word. / Thank you.
