Is the artist destroying by creating an anti-aesthetic image even though he has not created an image to destroy?
This is my statement about working within the DECBQM philosophy. I have posted it to allow better explanation of my philosophy. I really appreciate your interest and hope you comment on it in one way or the other. This is the basis of my creative output and my hope is that it will inspire others to test its merits and work within it. I hope it has not bored many of its readers.

I wrote this piece maybe two or three months ago … I used to sketch a lot some years back, but was never any good at painting … my father works really well with water colours, but hasn’t done so in years … anyway … Painting is one of those things that I love, even though I am no good at it myself in this sense … but to me … well … the creation of a canvas is very much like the creation of our very lives … and the similarities and sybmolisms always resonate strongly for me … / Some weeks ago I met an artist who was exhibiting his work here in the reception area of our building where I work in the city. I saw the posters in the lifts the days before … Art With Soul ... hmmmm … now that resonates. I made a point of speaking with him when he was here. I think his work is fabulous … have a look for yourself – He is Louis Parsons – Art With Soul For ages I’ve been thinking I’d like to photograph a painter at work … get images of the paints and the brushes and the works half complete … look for the essence of the energy in the studio and capture that … I think I will ask Louis Parsons whether this would be an option, whether his schedule, patience and humour permit :) ... If not, I;ll be on the look-out for another artist I think, but regardless of that – I think Louis artwork is quite fabulous and entirely appealing :)
