  • FOR SALE” The Four Elements “ / I regard this as one of my Masterpieces / price- $ 5,000 au / Acrylic on very thin cotton duck – a stretched canvas / this one is a Huge 177cm x 91cm / It took me many months to paint – and I think it’s just beautiful one of my best! / I have some great photos in my album of how it started / and quite a few photosof the stages in between this painting went through some remarkable transformations to get to the finished stage.. / . I’m proud of this painting because it was such a huge / project to me but..In the end ..the result was very pleasing… I had painted my vision and Ideas about the 4 elements…and it worked..It looked great!! / I will sell this painting because I do need the money , we all want to make a living from what we do best..don’t we..? we have to survive in what way we can and I can’t hang onto all of my paintings forever…I can hang onto some though. If you are interested in this painting..the best and safest way is me to take it off the wooden stretcher and then you have to get it restretched at your end. / it’s in good condition , there is an indentation in the painting at one end of the canvas.. / but this can be fixed in the restretching. I have just had a proffessional artist tell me that the indentation can be easily fixed by wetting the back of the canvas..it’s a very superficial problem.The painting itself is perfect and undamaged with no paint missing at all from this canvas. / / it’s a magnificent painting even if I say so myself… chemis, 1 day ago / it’s a lovely piece, the coloring is very eye catching, full and well layered / nice work!   • I just love painting elephants, and trying to come up with different colour combinations, it’s amazing the colours that one can make, with just four or five tubes of colour This one is painted in Acrylics on canvas and measures 1200×600 mm Although the main elephant occupies nearly half of the canvas, I wanted the direction of the clouds, the earth, and the light, to guide the eye to the smaller elephants, thus giving them just as much importance to the painting.

This is a digital compilation of two cardinals who landed in my tree at different times (same day). Original photos taken January, 2008. Cardinals: The female cardinal is a familiar backyard bird. It is a buff brown bird with tinges of red on crest and wings and a large red bill. They are non-migrators and eat seeds, insects and fruit and are common visitors at bird feeders. Cardinals can be very territorial in the spring and are know to fight their own reflections.
