Here is Ella, the most photogenic of my three furry friends. She was playing on my kids playscape and I decided to follow her around a bit. She was getting all wound up and just couldn’t contain her excitement anymore.

on saturday, sept 20th ‘08 my boyfriends band played at a bbq cook-off at a farm just outside of town. / this guy was sitting on a hay bale in front of the stage [which was actually just a hay wagon lol..oh our hick town..] during the boys set, he was the only one dancing in front of the stage..hopping around and whatnot. with a beer in one hand, and his cigar in the other. / he kept pestering me and my friend jenny to join him…but we were quite comfortable in our chairs with our boys sweaters over our legs. / then when he left, we got up and started taking pics of the band..he was kind of mad at us and gave us a drunken lecture. lol. it was pretty funny. / jenny even caught a picture of him in mid-flight tripping backwards over some cords. / it was a good show, lots of good people wth good food. / i had a great time. it was an awesome way to end the summer.

This Pic was taken at the NGV in Melbourne. They had a Bugatti display and I decided to take a few photos there. Photo was shot at about iso 1600 as the gallery was really dark, I think to stop fading of the Bugatti colors. Photo has not been altered much with a slight cropping, color to sepia, contrast and brightness adjusted and a pic just to the left of the engine cloned out.

This retired gent comes to the Museum Garden’s in York each day to feed the local squirrels and pigeons, sitting on the same bench. Each day they come to him, some even sit on him as they know him so well, even down to the pocket he keeps the peanuts in. A local personality, he is known across the globe for his feeding of the animals. Featured by the kind hosts of the Benches Group
I loved the opportunity to shoot at an event called the 16th Annual Poker Run, a biker event in Campbell River, to raise money for the local search and rescue society. I thought this guy was a classic epitome of a middle aged biker. Captured at Campbell River, Canada, using a Nikon D2Xs, Nikkor f2.8 80-200mm lens, ISO 200, f3.2, -0.67, 1/2500s.
In Arizona the temp is up in the triple digits & dry heat or not it’s ridiculously hot to say the very least! We are often in the pool quite a bit as a result. However, the down side is the high risk of skin cancer & various other skin diseases caused by so much exposure to the sun. (even with UV protection) FEATURED in the group You Big Softy

This is one of those great moments when a child does what you have forgotten to dare to, to just forget the masses and rush to the bubble man to pop the bubbles. Shot on Coney Street in York Converted in to a Holga black and white to bring out the bubbles Best viewed large
taken whilst down at the Southbank today … some “lovely” rain ensured that we sought shelter and a hot beverage!! / ... and yes, sometimes one just has to sit tight & be patient – the world unfolds and tells her own stories in her own good time ;) Canon EOS450D / Canon 28-135mm lens / Focal length:135 mm / Exposure:1/320 at f/5.6 / ISO speed:ISO 800
