    by Scott Ruhs

This photo of a silhouetted cross against a beautiful sunset was taken in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada right across the street from my house. My then girlfriend, now wife pointed out the cross, so I got down to ground level and took the shot. I was using a Canon PowerShot A640 camera at the time. / This was the very first image that I added to RedBubble and it has been my most popular image for views, comments, and favoritings to date. / ______________ / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / / ______________ /

    by Scott Ruhs

    US$4.32–US$98.80

When I got my Canon PowerShot A640 in the early Summer of 2007 I started taking various shots in the backyard. This image of a purple Iris was one of the first macro shots I had ever taken, and definitely one of my most popular images here on RedBubble. It was named Iris’ Tongue because it looked to me like it was sticking out it’s “tongue”. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” has been shown as a part of the Flower Power Project Exhibition in Frisco, Texas. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” is available in all print formats offered by RedBubble. / / / / / / / / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / / _____________ /

    by Scott Ruhs

    US$4.32–US$98.80

This is an image of my brother-in-law’s dog, Buzz, blended into a sunset over Long Cove only about a half a mile away from his home in West Pennant, Nova Scotia, Canada. Buzz is a Springer Spaniel and a sweetheart of a dog. Everyone loves Buzz. For those who may be curious, Buzz is still alive and kickin’! It will be a sad day for all of us when he is gone. / / Tears In Heaven is available in all print formats offered by redbubble. / / / / Buying Tears In Heaven as a gift? Why not get the matching card? / /

  • It was my intent to capture this bird perched in the purple lilac flowers at Mud Lake. I positioned myself in such a way that he, not wanting to be too close, would stop in the lilacs. Apparently, wishing to take centre stage, this one landed much nearer. Perfection in nature. Yellow Warbler with a lilac bush in the background at Mud Lake. d2×70-200 f2.8 VR lens

  • Forgotten - A True Story
    by macabrecat

    US$4.32–US$98.80

This is a story of a cat named Celes… / It reads; / “My family abandoned me when I became too much of a bother to them. / I was alone and forgotten… / Roaming the streets, looking for a warm place and food….I was found.” Celes was an abandoned neighborhood cat. We would see people yelling at her to get lost and even throw things in her direction. All she wanted was to be loved. / We became very close to her, fed her everyday..until she started to trust us.We eventually brought her into our home when it got too cold outside. / Our cats (we had 4 of our own) did not get along with her…we gave them a chance, several months…but then she did not seem happy, she was always on edge because of the other cats. We then found a good home for her with my boyfriend’s sister. She is now very happy..and we still get to visit her! : ) *All proceeds of sales are donated to the Hope Animal Shelter
