This photo of a silhouetted cross against a beautiful sunset was taken in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada right across the street from my house. My then girlfriend, now wife pointed out the cross, so I got down to ground level and took the shot. I was using a Canon PowerShot A640 camera at the time. / This was the very first image that I added to RedBubble and it has been my most popular image for views, comments, and favoritings to date. / _____________ / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / Subscribe to art updates / Subscribe to T-shirt updates / Become a fan on FaceBook / Add me as a friend on FaceBook / Follow me on Twitter _____________ /
This was a night of fun… experimenting with my camera… there are no Photoshop works here either… it is as is… :) Enjoy… :)
Caught this storm on the horizon on the way home tonight, just East of Okotoks, Alberta. It is reminiscent of some captures I have seen of hurricanes…. Hope none of our neighbors suffered any damage.
When I got my Canon PowerShot A640 in the early Summer of 2007 I started taking various shots in the backyard. This image of a purple Iris was one of the first macro shots I had ever taken, and definitely one of my most popular images here on RedBubble. It was named Iris’ Tongue because it looked to me like it was sticking out it’s “tongue”. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” has been shown as a part of the Flower Power Project Exhibition in Frisco, Texas. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” is available in all print formats offered by RedBubble. / / / / / / / / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / Subscribe to art updates / Subscribe to T-shirt updates / Become a fan on FaceBook / Add me as a friend on FaceBook / Follow me on Twitter _____________ /

This is an image of my brother-in-law’s dog, Buzz, blended into a sunset over Long Cove only about a half a mile away from his home in West Pennant, Nova Scotia, Canada. Buzz is a Springer Spaniel and a sweetheart of a dog. Everyone loves Buzz. For those who may be curious, Buzz is still alive and kickin’! It will be a sad day for all of us when he is gone. / / Tears In Heaven is available in all print formats offered by redbubble. / / / / Buying Tears In Heaven as a gift? This is a macro of the inside of a flower, but please don’t ask me which one because I have no idea what it was. LOL Scott said it looked like candy corn so the name was born. Candy corn for those of you that don’t know is a rocket ship shaped candy that is three different colours; red, yellow, and white I do believe. For those of you that may wonder, I did not manipulate this photo in any way other than to crop a bit off to get this to RB dimensions.
THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS FRIENDS! xx

The Gosling in the middle is the original, I decided to give him a couple of clones to race with.
It was my intent to capture this bird perched in the purple lilac flowers at Mud Lake. I positioned myself in such a way that he, not wanting to be too close, would stop in the lilacs. Apparently, wishing to take centre stage, this one landed much nearer. Perfection in nature. Yellow Warbler with a lilac bush in the background at Mud Lake.
