I am most proud of this shot so far in my short time doing photography. This image incorporates my passionate nature with my love of the ocean. I used to lobster fish with my Dad and so the ocean holds a lot of dear, and not so dear LOL, memories for me. I almost froze my hands off doing this. It was snowing a little while before I took this shot so you can imagine close to the water, with a breeze, how cold it was. However, in the name of love and romance, anything goes! LOL

as you can see we had more cloudy days then sunny ….I had to remember I was in the mountains ..up 3000 feet most times ..and clouds were part of the scenery .... it did clear up but I wanted sun tho !!! we had more cloudy days then sunny until we got to Grand Prairie Alberta … / I didnt mind really . .I was just so thrilled to be there ….. Bow Lake. They say that the grass is always greener on the other side… ...it may not be that easy to get to but well worth the effort! I’ve been trying to get to those greener pastures for a while now and yesterday its looks like I just found a gate! It’s not green but the future is definately looking brighter! 29.08.08 Taken on the road from Tofino to Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. British Columbia. March 2008. This is a composite of three photos, a sculpture of the herd (by a local artist I am told), a close-up of just one of the horses, and a wagon in my sister’s yard. /

I used to go with my mother at Point-au-Père along the St-Lawrence river just for evening and night before reaching Grand-Anse,New-Brunswich, the village where she grew up.I had long walks on those rocs when I was very young,when I saw the little church it all came back to me.I saw myself with my little sister Maryse and my brother Peter picking up rocs and shells and the sun was going down,I was 14 years old…souvenir …souvenir…..an untouched shot. / Better view larger. / Two world challenge:personnal and history / /

A photo of St-Simeon’s pier, the most beautiful place I saw when I went for my little 3 days trip.While taking this shot ,a nice couple on a moto talked to me ,I ask for a little auberge to sleep for the night and they decided to invite me to their home.That’s Quebec,I would have done the same but it was a first for me…couldn’t believe it.I sent some photos by email and they were very happy.They are living at five minutes from there in a beautiful place called La Malbaie near the St-Lawrence river.The same day in the afternoon I took «Pointe-au-Père» and in the evening the sky became lavander blue,a real dream. / / /

The Athabasca Glacier has receded significantly since its greatest modern-era extent in 1844 The photo underneath is the top of it The Columbia Icefield is an icefield located in the Canadian Rockies, astride the Continental Divide of North America. The icefield lies partly in the northwestern tip of Banff and the southern end of Jasper National Park. It is about 325 km² in area, 100 to 365 metres (328’ to 1,197’) in depth and receives up to seven metres (23 feet) of snowfall per year.

Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest national park, established in 1885, in the Canadian Rockies. / The park is located in the province of Alberta and encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of mountainous terrain, numerous glaciers and ice fields. / The landscape is vast and hard to describe in a few words but “breathe taking” would sum it up quite well! / This image was taken whilst driving through the nearly deserted mountainous passes and always reminds me of what it was like to see each peak for the first time; turning every bend in the road and just being speechless. / You get completely immersed in the history of the area and can’t help but think about all the pioneers who carved the way before you. It is a humbling experience to be there and makes you so thankful you have had a chance to see it. Nb: Just to clarify, i wasn’t driving when i took this image…. Paul was!!!! I was trying to grab a shot whilst his hands where firmly on the steering wheel. Safety first people! HAHA! Canon XTI rebel, 10 – 20mm lens @ 11mm, 1/40 sec, F/11, Grad filter. Processing in CS3
