As the sunrise burned trough the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing place… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. I particularly like the fact that compared to a lot of fog shots it displays color to I think an advantage and shows the promise of a beautiful sunny day emerging… Featured in Canada: The Great White North group September 2008 / Featured in the Nirvana group September 2008 / Avatar for Shots In The Fog group October 2008 / Featured in the ImageWriting group November 2008 / Featured in the RB featured art, November 2008

Taken in the late winter/early spring of 2005 with a Canon A75 at a boardwalk in the town of Ste-Marthe-sur-le-lac, Québec, CANADA. The white expanse of snow visible beyond the trees is the frozen snow-covered Lake of Two Mountains. Although I could see the arc of the trees when I took the shot and that is what I was aiming to capture, it was an extremely sunny day and I did not anticipate that the circle would be completed with the reflection… / / Featured in Everything Winter / and Trees May 2008 groups. / Featured in Seasonal Scapes group October 08. / Featured in Seasonal Scapes group November 08,

My new wolf friend seemed to like having his pictures taken – he stared “up close and personal” right into the lens. I believe it is only fitting to donate the proceeds of the sale of this image to a park that more than 200 wolves call home! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

They say that the grass is always greener on the other side… ...it may not be that easy to get to but well worth the effort! I’ve been trying to get to those greener pastures for a while now and yesterday its looks like I just found a gate! It’s not green but the future is definately looking brighter! 29.08.08 Taken on the road from Tofino to Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. British Columbia. March 2008. Thank you Claire once again for putting aside your camera for a while to satisfy my whims!

INSPIRED BY THE SONG…”All by myself” / Same place as Peaceful but a year later.I’m passing by that little lake everyday and I always look in case I would see a few ducks or special shadows and reflections. That early morning, same day as Quiet Moments was so foggy,I had a huge fun shooting. / St-Hippolyte,north of Quebec,Canada. / / /

Shore of an island in the fog, taken Friday October 24th, 2008 in the early morning, Lake of Two Mountains, Deux-Montagnes, Quebec CANADA / Despite the mist the color of the trees is still visible. “Like a man travelling in foggy weather, those at some distance before him on the road he sees wrapped up in the fog, as well as those behind him, and also the people in the fields on each side, but near him all appears clear, though in truth he is as much in the fog as any of them.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

A view of Pitt River in Pitt Meadows, B.C, Canada. / The fog was just starting to life, the low clouds caught my eye. It is a beautiful and peaceful place for a walk

I have been told that this shot is rarely captured, due to the frequency of the winds around this area. My Aunt and My Grandmother have tried for years and never had the opportunity to capture this Mountain and its mirrored image before. / I have been back several time time to take more shots but the water was too choppy, I was fortunate with this one.
