The River Queen is an old paddle wheel boat that has been turned into a floating casino/restaurant. It was a stormy summer afternoon and the sky was quickly becoming darker. But i love walking the Edmonton river valley and the rain wasn’t going to stop that.

Winnipeg Manitoba Canada / Esplanade Riel over the Red River just north of the Fork where the Red River and Assiniboine River meet and flow north under this bridge. In the background is downtown Winnipeg. I shot this at f22 and on a tripod. I used iso 200 and a 2-3 sec exposure. I figured the longer the shutter was open the smoother the water would be.
