Chinook clouds are a unique cloud formation found mainly in southern Alberta, Canada. A chinook is also known as the “snow eater” as it brings in warm air into the region during the winter. My sky shots are 100% natural and have not been altered or enhanced.

This is an image of my brother-in-law’s dog, Buzz, blended into a sunset over Long Cove only about a half a mile away from his home in West Pennant, Nova Scotia, Canada. Buzz is a Springer Spaniel and a sweetheart of a dog. Everyone loves Buzz. For those who may be curious, Buzz is still alive and kickin’! Taken in 2006 in Northern Ontario, Canada, East Bull Lake, with a Canon Powershot A75. I am fascinated by the reflection on water. Again no tripod. I wanted to capture the clouds in the water and the stillness of the lake. Featured in the Dawn and Dusk Light group.
