  • The Stunning Bald Eagle…...... Bald Eagles live near large bodies of open water such as lakes, marshes, seacoasts and rivers, where there are plenty of fish to eat and tall trees for nesting and roosting. Bald Eagles have a presence in every U. S. state except Hawaii. Bald Eagles use a specific territory for nesting, winter feeding or a year-round residence. Its natural domain is from Alaska to Baja, California, and from Maine to Florida. Bald Eagles that reside in the northern U. S. and Canada migrate to the warmer southern climates of the U. S. during the winter to obtain easier access to food, especially fish. Some Bald Eagles that reside in the southern U. S. migrate slightly north during the hot summer months.

  • Peggy's Cove
    by Annette Blattman

    US$4.28–US$114.00

  • Click here to add me to your watch list. / .................................. / Taken behind the fish processing plant in St. Mary’s, Newfoundland during the off-season. / This is the only shot I’ve ever taken with the intent of using selective colouring in post processing. When I was taking the picture, I popped up the built in flash and put my finger in front of it to enhance the reds a little. The bright red glare that you see there is the reflection of the flash blasting through my finger. To me it kind of looks like there’s a light blinking inside the box. Would you have pressed it?

  • Hometown Festival
    by LisaLorenz

    US$4.28–US$114.00

Vibrant, flamboyant panting of the colorful homes and harbours found in the Atlantic Canada provinces and in the Maine, New England areas. I spent many vacations with my family in these beautiful quarters and there is something so heart warming about the architecture, harbours, the many seaside shops, cafes, and restaurants; and of course the beautiful ocean and all the fishing boats and seagulls. It reminds me of summer and the way it should be.
