Shore of an island in the fog, taken Friday October 24th, 2008 in the early morning, Lake of Two Mountains, Deux-Montagnes, Quebec CANADA / Despite the mist the color of the trees is still visible. “Like a man travelling in foggy weather, those at some distance before him on the road he sees wrapped up in the fog, as well as those behind him, and also the people in the fields on each side, but near him all appears clear, though in truth he is as much in the fog as any of them.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

The fall colours in Nova Scotia can be so beautiful. This picture was taken from a spot in West Pennant called Hospital Hill. Hospital Hill is a couple of miles back in the woods but well worth the hike! When you climb to the top of the hill the views are spectacular, ocean in one direction and hills in the other.

not sure what to call these sets of falls near downtown..Dryden but the generosity of the Wilson’s is enableling a suspension bridge to be built here this fall so i can take some waterfall shots on the far side kudo’s to the . Wilson’s
