The entering of a new era… the Old district of St. John’s is overtaken by the new architecture of this era. The pigeon in the foreground seems to emphasize the character and timlessness of Old St. John’s. / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / Canon Rebel

I took this shot on Bell Island, if you look closely at the base of the cliff you can see a natural tunnel that has been bored through the rock by the water and out to the other side. The bravest and most daring of kayakers venture into these tunnels to explore. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / /

/ / It would be such a pity to leave without a comment. Like it? Say so. Don’t like it? Say so too! With a bang, if that fits your style. I’d rather leave a negative impression (on someone) than nothing at all. DullnBoring is not my middle name. Neither my last (I knew you’d probably say that!). As for the first name, it’s on the front page. So, please, leave a note and make my day a beautiful one! Thank you from the heart my friend. / / . / Please view also my other work.. / / Thank you for visiting.

Disclaimer: this is NOT a political message… if I would want to make one, I would be far more direct and explicit… this is a simple play with semantics. I intend to use art as an expression of political views, but not at this time, nor this venue. I lived in a communist regime for more than 30 years, so I know it inside out… yet, have no hate, nor regrets, just understanding of my journey as a free man in a not-so-free-world… but then again, who’s to say what freedom is… until you don’t have it… / /

Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometres outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6183 feet (1884 m). The lake has a surface area of 0.5 km². The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. However, when it is full, it is a beautiful shade of blue. The lake gets its color from the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis. source: wikipedia Taken with a Nikon D70s with a 18-200mm Sigma lens

Love can blow your mind and leave you seeing stars but its always your heart that takes the weight.

The fall colours in Nova Scotia can be so beautiful. This picture was taken from a spot in West Pennant called Hospital Hill. Hospital Hill is a couple of miles back in the woods but well worth the hike! When you climb to the top of the hill the views are spectacular, ocean in one direction and hills in the other.
