The unique thing about this state park, located close to Chattanooga Tennesse, is it has the Tennessee River going along two sides of it. I was able to get sunsets across the river as well as sunrises (thanks ros..lol)

This is a watercolor painted from a snapshot that I took of the lake at the KOA campground in St. Petersburg, FL. I used to live near the campground and liked to ride my bike through it and sit in the shade by the water and read for a while. I don’t have the original painting any more, so I’m glad that I took a photo of it before it disappeared from my life, along with the person that I gave it to. / / See also The Little Chapel, also at the KOA.

The amazing red rock, called “Balancing Rock”, that is a natural scenic attraction at the entrance to Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a favorite spot of tourist, and locals, to take family photos.

This was taken at a campground in Verona, VA which is located between Staunton and Harrisonburg. I’m not sure what the name of the lazy river that flows next to the campground is but I think it’s called Naked River. It was pretty fun to tube on. Defenitely lazy….no rapids but plenty of butt bumping rocks!!

Kissing Camels in Garden of the Gods park is a favorite red rock sandstone formation. The moon eclipse over the sun addition in the sky, looks like a sparkling diamond ring.
-
This is the pump house at the campground. It is actually not in working order due to old age. However, rather than be torn down, the owners turned it into a wood shed. Whenever you needed wood for the firepit, this would be where to get it if you could not find your own. I guess they like to recycle!!
