  • Shattered Dreams
    by Sarah Moore

    US$4.99–US$133.00

A collaboration with keleka656, thank you so much for letting me use a version of your image…Another Snow Day. Lancelot and Guinevere Lancelot had one failing, his adultorous love of Queen Guinevere. They tried to keep this love secret, it became known, and eventually brought about the undoing of the Round Table. Lancelot and Guinevere’s love for each other grew slowly. Initially Guinevere kept Lancelot away from her. Eventually, however the pair became lovers. Soon the pair were discovered…Guinevere was seized and condemned to burn to death for her adultery. Sir Lancelot returned several days later to rescue his Guinevere, killing several of King Arthur’s knights in the process. Lancelot ended his days as a hermit and Guinevere became a nun at Amesbury where she died. Gotta love a happy ending! © Sarah Moore 2008 Stock Used… Female Model / Knight / Raven Other images in my Mists of Avalon series… King Arthur and the Holy Grail / A Forbidden Love / The Sword in the Stone / Mists of Avalon / The Lady of the Lake / The Isle of Apples / The Road to Camelot / Guinevere / Merlin / Camelot Mists /

  • ©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. /06/12/08. A DigyMix™ work. This knight obviously has his helmet on too tight. He’s attacking a rampaging dragon but the dragon is so large he can’t reach his head. Maybe he can irritate the beast into committing suicide? This knight was in Camelot but he wasn’t as famous as the other guys that got to sit at the Round Table. He always sat at the Kiddie Table. The most famous thing he ever did was to not become famous. Once again I was playing with colors and patterns in this work. Thanks for looking, Seth.

  • Children playing – in their eyes it’s not a beach but elsewhere. / Things which you don’t see. / A boy,a girl, a dog and sea – would you play with me?

  • The Lady of Shalott
    by Murray Swift

    US$5.13–US$136.80

The Lady of Shalott / Alfred, Lord Tennyson Who is this? And what is here? / And in the lighted palace near / Died the sound of royal cheer / And they crossed themselves for fear / All the Knights at Camelot / But Lancelot mused a little space / He said, ‘she has a lovely face; / God in his mercy lend her grace / The Lady of Shalott.’

  • Camelot
    by Stephen Jackson

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Another of Hackney’s finest views (East London). The contrast – of media-purveyed dreams and urban squalor – seemed poignant. LAST BUS A vignette, perhaps, from Edward Hopper / Transplanted to an anaesthetic land. / An etherised face, staring and alone, beneath / The incandescence of electric gas. / Shunning the light, shattering the night, / Blanked by the eyeless windows / Of midnight, rattling a chromed carapace over / A dereliction of crushed cans and pavements, / Shaking my armoured hide through a labyrinth now / Cracked apart in the stray hours: this dark, deserted city. Mine is the last bus, the empty bus, / The one before the day that never came, / Propelled, An Schwager Kronos, towards the sickly-sweet, / Chemical salvation of oblivion. Mute as Camus’ Sisyphus, / I’d drive it on, eyes fixed, firm in my futile plan: / Resolute, because there’d be / No-one left to see: obedient to inconsequential purpose, and / Unbowed by the great weight of the sky. I’d stand elected / (Unopposed) as captain of the stricken vessel of my life. / Heroic in anonymity, / Defying the silence of humankind / (The pettiness of them, the ignorance of them), / And revelling, steadfast, in the isolation / Of all determined, little men. But just to let old Goethe know: / This is no reckless hedonist who speeds past / Your envious and fastidious gaze, / Exhausting life’s licence, plunging from the sky / From boredom, far more than debauch – / All appetites sated, curiosity quelled. / My life was as sterile as your underworld, / Inert as Piccadilly neon. / My hell is a dark box, and the stink of burning metal. Stephen Jackson (October 2003)
