Camels walking home at sunset in Dubia —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—--
One of the local inhabitants at Leptis Magna in Libya. This one was quite the model, and was very happy to show off her piercing! / A funny story behind the scenes for this image. I was knealing down framing shots (and oblivious to anything else), when i heard my local driver call out to me from afar “Craig, look out”! Just as i heard that, i turned and there was a big bull camel about 5 feet behind me! He snorted and i nearly fell over ;-0. I backed away slowly from him and his girlfriends (much to the delight of my driver). / . /
One of the camels from the Daraw Camel Market at a village near the Nile in Egypt. Camels are brought up from Sudan and sold at this market. I’ve had enough riding on camels for my life (nothing bad happened – I just prefer the ground). But these creatures are really awesome none-the-less.
This camel really needed a break, but these 2 guys did not leave him alone..Khuri, rajahstan, India

A camel from the Alice Springs Camel Farm surveying his domain as the sun sets. Although, being a feral animal in Central Australia, camels are probably more of an invading conqueror then rightful ruler.
Just a camel’s nose! Nikon D40 55-200mm, probably taken in auto, but can’t remember! Processed in CS3.
