CAUGHT MY BABY GIRL PONDERING. VERY DEEP IN THOUGHT. MEDITATING IF YOU WILL. PROBABLY WONDERING, HOW AT NEARLY TWO AND ONE HALF YEARS OF AGE, SHE IS MORE ARTICULATE THAN OUR PRESIDENT. (HAD TO THROW IN A LITTLE JAB DON’T START, JUST TAKE A XANAX IF YOU MUST). ANY WAY SHE IS VERY DEEP IN THOUGHT. WONDERING “WHEN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IS DADDY / GOING TO OPEN UP THE FREEZER AND HOOK ME UP WITH A POPSICLE ALREADY”. cannonEOS D1 / Mark III / 28-105 / 80 iso / no flash / -1 ex

A calm day at Maratai Beach, East Auckland – New Zealand
At peace free from disturbance, quality or state of being tranquil; calmness; peacefulness; quiet; serenity…
Sometimes I wonder what kinds of art I would be creating if I lived in a paradise like this one, listening to the flow of the waves, gently caressing the glistening slopes of sand outside my window. Smelling the clear unpolluted air whispering across my chest as I sit watching the sunlight dance across the crests of the waves. Hahaha probably the hectic antics of a society lost in a flurry of self absorbed delusions.
Wallingford, Connecticut – USA / 6:15 am -10.08.08 A cool, crisp New England morning with rich reds and golds breaks over a steamy reservoir. To the left of the frame, ducks bob in the pond contemplating their winter destinations. Fall has arrived in New England. The colors are deep. The air is cool and still. And at 6am most of the residents of these quaint towns are still tucked in to their warm beds. What else do we all miss when we’re sleeping? Canon EOS 30d with 18-55mm kit lens @ ISO 400
Shot at Titahi Bay, New Zealand just before a storm. Shot on a Nikon D700, Tamron 17-35 lens and processed through Photomatrix HDR Thank you to Sally and Amber for featuring this work this was taken last Friday night on my way home from work, bad storm set in latter. As I finished this shot, packed my camera in the bag , turned and fell of the rocks camera bag and tripod over my head pinning me to the rocks and a wave coming in behind me, no kit was broken but I have lots of cuts and bumps! A little too close to the edge this time!
Beach with Blue Lavendar Sky and Buildings, Montauk, New York, Spring 2007
I discovered this location while on holiday in New Zealand. I found it a very peaceful and serene setting. I was really attracted to rocks at the waters edge which I saw as stepping stones out into the middle of the lake. I visited this location on the previous morning however the clouds were completely covering the mountain range. I decided to return the following day and I was greeted with this wonderful sunrise.
