  • This morning was a gorgeous morning to be up and about…. 5AM and I was wondering the rocks of North Narrabeen in just a T-shirt. Not a cloud in the sky, not a puff of wind, hardly a swell in sight. Not the best conditions for seascape photography, but a lovely morning to be up and about enjoying the Spring weather. Did manage to take this photo of North Narrabeen Rock Pool. Love the old textured planks around the pool.

  • Lake View
    by Annette Blattman

    US$4.28–US$114.00

  • We enjoyed the mellow dusk settle on this perfect anchorage with pints of beer in hand, outside the renowned Forge inn, (officially Britains remotest mainland pub). The tiny scottish hamlet of Inverie is inaccessible by road, only by sea or a demanding walk of many miles. We had crossed to the unspoilt area of the knoydart peninsula by ferry from Mallaig for some amazing walking (see the series of 3 pics on heartbeat ridge . The sights on arrival were just captivating with wildflowers galore, deer roaming gardens, peacocks roosting (see bird in a tree and I also got the precious shot of morning gems. See more history on knoydart *> knoydart* (Location : Inverie Scottish Highland Region57.0326°N 5.6717°W)

  • LoL
    by dinghysailor1

    US$2.85–US$76.00

Another view of Loch of the Lowes which lies in the beautiful scottish borders between Moffat and Selkirk. It flows into nearby St Mary’s loch (with its thriving sailing club) past old Tibbieshiels inn, hostelry and overnight stop for walkers on the southern upland way crossing Scotland. Overlooking the north end of the loch is a monument to James Hogg – the Scottish Poet known as the Etterick Shepherd, friend and contemporary of Sir Walter Scott. Taken 4/3/08 (untouched) (there is a 2nd loch of the lowes further north in Perthshire, complete with osprey viewing centre – but you can see the wonderful fish eagle hunting here too if you are lucky!) / See also ‘loch of the lowes’ and ‘i am a rock’ ‘LoL’

  • i am a rock
    by dinghysailor1

    US$2.85–US$76.00

A rock’s eye view of the loch of lowes – I think this has a certain messy charm compared with the more pristine perfection of ‘loch of the lowes’ or ‘LoL’ Let me know what you think – comments and tips most welcome Loch of the Lowes lies in the beautiful scottish borders between Moffat and Selkirk. • Golden Morn II
    by Gary L. Suddath

    US$4.56–US$121.60

Early Appalachian life must have been filled with golden mornings. Wonder how often they would pause from their chores, and just drink in the glorious light filtering through the fog. Stopped and gave thanks to God for his blessings and felt at awe with his creation. Wonder how often they knew they had found their pot of gold. Not in a monetary sense, but in the riches of life. They struggled from day to day but how often did they rejoice at what they were blessed with. The coolness of the mist upon their face. The warmth of the sun as it forged its way through the fog. The sounds of nature as she too is awakening to greet the morn. Wonder how rich they may have felt seeing the warm glow softly lighting the fruits of their labor. You too can feel this. You too can feel awakened and renewed with the dawn, if only willing to experience it. Visit and help preserve that which we are blessed with.……Image taken at the Mountain Farm Museum, GSMNP

  • sheep can swim....
    by dinghysailor1

    US$2.85–US$76.00

I still have to look so carefully to work out just where the wooden fenceposts stop and the reflections begin… This fencing goes out into the beautiful St Mary’s loch in the scottish borders to mark the boundaries of the thriving sailing club there and to keep the sheep safely in the adjoining fields The loch is three miles long by half a mile wide, set in spectacular surroundings in the middle of the Southern Uplands about 50 miles south of Edinburgh. To preserve the peace and tranquility, only sailing boats use it, apart from the a few small fishing craft and the club rescue boats. / / It is much bigger and deeper than the nearby loch of the lowes Taken 27/4/08 (untouched) / / ps warning to sheep :please don’t try this at home…wet wool weighs! / ; ) / / See also stones in the water / / / / and / under the wire /

  • Love Meditations
    by udonchow

    US$3.99–US$106.40

Acrylic On Canvas Concept: Ophelia having some solitude, she’s meditating on what love is all about…love between lovers, between friends, between parents and children, between teacher and students, between owners and their pets and etc….the greatest love is when one is willing to lay down his/her life(others-seeking and not self-seeking) for another person whom he/she loves. While painting this, it also reminds me of a famous chinese love tale, “The Butterfly Lovers”....thus a pair of butterflies. It is a tragic tale about how a couple could only find their love bliss after they pass on and both became butterflies.I’m contented to have found my bliss :D View my other “Love Meditations” creations at my Zazzle store:
