My first ever post to redbubble!! A really lucky capture of Loch Voil near Balquidder (Rob Roy country) in Scotland. This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain,very impressive to walk over there.That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. A little pond near my home.The water was beginning to freeze,for me this scene shows the immobility we feel between two seasons.I have several shot of that pond,it’s a quiet place,I often go there just to be with myself and listen to the sound of nature.

Shot at Corio Bay, Geelong. Amazing clouds and perfectly calm. The sun had just gone behind a cloud and this acute contrast was the result. “Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. I was delighted to catch the calm surface for reflections, as the low rising sun was casting its first orange glow over the autumn colors.

Night time shot, taken in the backwaters of the River Murray, near Lyrup in the Riverland area of South Australia. Beautiful still night with mirror image reflections of the majestic dead river gums. BEST Viewed large. Canon 400D 18-55 lens. Processed in Photoshop CS3.

As cyclone Hamish approaches the Fraser Coast, the clouds turned rather erie, wind was picking up, and you got the feeling it’s time to move. First day using my Ultra Wide lens, Rainbow Beach, looking North over Fraser Island coastline. Canon 50D, 10mm ultra wide. Available very large, best viewed LARGE :)

“Floating on Clouds” was shot in Goulds Newfoundland Canada. This is The Dory in natural light. I was talking to a friend about shooting “The Dory” and “Floating on Clouds” and how I used a polarizer to bring out the clouds on the water (as seen here) and removed it and used a flash to shoot “The Dory”. I was wondering in hindsight what I would have come up with if I had used the polarizer and flash at the same time. I know I would have given up about up to two stops with the filter which would have meant a slower shutter speed and the boat was moving, ever so slightly, so it may not have worked out? But maybe next time, live and learn!
