This brilliant red wildflower stood out so well against all the greenery in very bright light along Plot’s Fire Trail, just south of Port macquarie, NSW, Australia. I fine example of Callistemon pachyphyllus (Wallum Bottlebrush). Fuji S5500: Manual settings of f/2.8 @ 1/1000sec, unfiltered, macro mode and a steady hand gave me the difficult exposure and detail. / Lightroom &Photoshop CS3 rendered the final result. Enjoy!
