Cat’s mesmerising blue eyes
/ Isn’t another bad day (yet again) on the stock markets the perfect time to show you my latest still life in the “nostalgia” series, entitled: the stock market. / As usual, old and new elements are mingled together. The painted with light technique was used again, as well as digital manipulation to get the end result I was after. / It’s strange, I spent months planning this shot, preparing and getting the props and then in a few hours time it’s shot. It’s almost an anti-climax. / Well, I hope you enjoy it! / By the way, this is the fourth installment in this series, I’m withholding the second one which I consider my masterpiece in this series. I’ll probably upload it in a few days. / °°° / A wallpaper based on this photo can be found here more work / the calendar /

One very beautiful animal
We had to shut down our computers at work for about 20 minutes and since I cant sit still that long, I took out my camera and started taking photos of my work area. I still use old fashion ledger paper to “crunch numbers” vs. using the excel program…lol. And I really dont use this little calculator but thought I would set up a shot just for the fun of it. This was the result, transformed to an inverted image. Thought it looked kinda cool.
Might be a subtle difference, but this one makes the letters the right way around.
I was trying to work out if I preferred gravy or curry sauce on my fish and chips when suddenly my mind opened up and the power of my thoughts started to alter reality. I felt connected to everything in the universe and drew on it’s accumulated knowledge through higher dimensional streams of thought from parallel states of being. I was illuminated. It was curry sauce.

Have I ever mentioned that I’m ridiculous.

The dreamers are the saviors of the world. As the visible world is sustained by the invisible, so men, through all their trials and sins and sordid vocations, are nourished by the beautiful visions of their solitary dreamers. (James Allen)

Tools of my former trade as an Aerospace Engineering student. This is a glimpse back to what my desk used to look like… physics and calculus notes and homework assignments, pencils, engineering rules, drafting set, compasses, and of course (my savior) the TI-89 graphing calculator. To be honest, you would have never seen my desk this messy. Odd that when I was an engineer I kept my desk neat and organized and now, as a Homeland Security major… it’s covered with books, notes, empty water bottles (not beer bottles thank you very much lol), pens, pencils… at least all my highlighters are in a cup.
