A pretty photo of Loch Cluanie on the West of Scotland. Loch Cluanie (Scottish Gaelic: Loch Cluanaidh) is a loch in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. It is a reservoir, contained behind the Cluanie dam, constructed by Mitchell Construction and completed in 1957 as part of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board’s Glenmoriston project to generate hydroelectricity.

The old stone packhorse bridge over the River Dulnain at Carrbridge, Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. It was built in 1707 and damaged by a great flood in 1829 , leaving the present fragile looking archway.

Lochindorb is a loch high on the Dava Moor in the northern part of the Cairngorm National Park. Lochindorb is gaelic for “Loch of Trouble” and has had its plenty of trouble throughout Scottish history. / This lone tree stands on the edge of the loch and the winding road.
