i took this eons ago back when i was still in highschool. i took it on a class trip to the zoo. the goat looked so sad standing in the pen.
A bird from Newquay zoo, i loved the colours of its feathers, very bright :) / I also love how it is so detailed while the background bird is more out of focus. Make: Canon / Model: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL / Shutter Speed: 1/160 second / F Number: F/5.6 / Focal Length: 55 mm / ISO Speed: 100
Picture taken in Miami Metro Zoo on december 2007. Just imagine how bored we are, when stuck in one place for long with nothing much to do, these guys are no exception.

created in portrait mode at 1/8 sec exposure time, f/3.6 and iso 64 with a Kodak z612. the goal here was to take a photo through glass without creating a glare or reflection…i think i did well. post pocessing was only to resized file size. the cub appeared to be asleep at first and i had to wait a while before he decided to lift his head. i was surprised i got this in one shoot because after the shot was taken, he put his head back done
The monkey was just “taking a break” and was holding the wire.
This beautiful tiger’s eyes held within them such longing… / Zoos can be really sad places.
