Plazza San Marco, Venice about 2000 or thereabouts. Expensive coffee. Good though. Nice view from the tower and a regular shot by the tourists but then again I was one. Like being a tourist. Like coffee too.

I went along to the Ace Café one evening to see what I could see. The venue has a wonderful history and is a fully refurbished café cum restaurant all kitted out in 50’s style. Car and bike enthusiasts of all types meet there regularly. /

Café del Mar is a bar located in San Antonio, Ibiza, just to the west of the West End. It is a popular summer tourist destination, noted for its view of the local sunset. Café del Mar is the original Ibizan "sunset bar", opened by Ramón Guiral, Carlos Andrea, and José Les in 1978. Café del Mar is een café in San Antonio op Ibiza. I grew up along the Hudson River Valley in New York state and have always loved NYC. From time time I still get a chance to visit. Last year I was taking in the Old Timer’s game at the old Yankee Stadium with my son, John, his wife, Sam, and her sister, Alexis. After the game Alexis took us back to her apartment and asked if I’d take a few pictures from the rooftop. She was moving and didn’t have any. This is my favorite of the few I took. The storm arrived soon after this shot and we had to leave. Shot from the Chelsea Landmark apartment complex rooftop, 25th & 6th Avenue, NYC. Taken with a Canon EOS 350 D camera with a Sigma AF 18-200mm DC OS Zoom Lens on 2 August 2008. Picnik Orton-ish effect.
