The Trossachs National Park lies just North of Stirling and is the Gateway to the Scottish Highlands. I spotted the light on the hillside as I was out for a drive.

Christmas is a wonderful time in Christmas, you have all the fun fair and open air ice rinks on the go from the end of November until the early part of January.

The Famous clock tower which is part of the NB Hotel is locally known as the Old Lady of Edinburgh. The main street is the world famous Princes Street where the biggest street party in Europe is held every Hogmany (New Years Eve). This view was taken at sunset from Calton Hill which stands at the East end of Princes Street.

The Trossachs, just North of Stirling is the Gateway to the Scottish Highlands. Autumn and Winter in my mind are the best of the seasons to view some of this spectacular scenery. I was fortunate enough to catch a combination of sunlight, rolling mist and snow capped peaks.
