This picture will be displayed from the 27th of March to the 9th of June at Federation Square in the Top Arts exhibition, so check it out! This photograph in my folio for school was an ideal example of how simple design principle scan form an interesting aesthetic. Diagonal lines can add energy or movement; the intense green adds a vibrancy to it; and the repitition of cactus spikes that create rhythm. These aesthetic elements combined can suggest the vibrancy and liveliness of nature. Nature was my main theme by the way. In the future I want to take pictures with aesthetic quality but a bit more meaning. Aesthetics to capture the viewers attention and meaning to make it more interesting and… um meaningful.

  • Looking Out

This shot was taken through a frosted glass window from a street in Stanmore, Sydney. The light was just right on the best sunny winter day so far this year. I decided to leave the spots of dirt, paint and splotches – makes for a more rustic look too, which I like.
