  Hi Folks, if you ever stay at Lemonthyme Lodge here in Tasmania you will see my photos hanging on the walls in every log cabin and restaurant,24 of them, they liked my images so much that they bought my images in 900×600 framed and matted they look great. / Lemonthyme Lodge is the biggest log lodge or building in southern hemisphere, and its near Moina on the way to Cradle Mountain.

  Well, I need a break so we are heading to the mountain to rest. No internet, no one knows the phone number, and my cell phone doesn’t get service untill I go down the road. Just peace and quiet. This is sort of my Waldon Pond. It is located only 40 minutes from my house in Summerhaven, Arizona. The temperature on my back porch is 101f. It is in the low 70’s there! I’ll be back in a couple days to catch up on posts and the groups. Cheers!

  Hiya People,I’m back from my holiday’s..and all I can say is “Thank God”! / Our Cabin in Dorset was a glorified SHED,with a little patio…

  Hiya People,I’m back from my holiday’s..and all I can say is “Thank God”! / Our Cabin in Dorset was a glorified SHED,with a little patio at the front,where the squirrels,crows,mallards finches etc visited me daily for their food..this was the highlight of my 2 weeks of pure,unadulterated Hell on Earth. / As you may know,I didn’t want to go at all,but I went because why should I worry about bills etc when nobody else was fretting! but ..the thought of Living with my Daughter,Son in Law,12 year old Granddaughter,who is stroppy and has been all her life,and a 10 year old Grandson,who was quite a pleasure to be with until he told me what to do…and their dog who is 11 months old and rules them….I was ready to commit murder on several occassions. / As I am 56 years old,the last thing I want to do is sit in a cabin..or SHED which is what I would call it,and go & play bingo,amusment arcades,fishing or boozing Teetotal) everynight, was not my idea of a break..the kids were constantly bickering with the parents,and I couldn’t bear the thought of the dog being tethered up most of the day in the SHED while they went off and enjoyed themselves,more often then not leaving the dog with us taking him for walks during their absence. / The holiday was a disaster from beginning to end,and things got so bad that I attempted to walk into Weymouth,10 miles away and get a train home.I ducked and dived the traffic carrying just my make-up and my bag,almost getting knocked over twice in the attempt to escape to sanity..lol. / While away,I have had the sad news that one of my neighbours has died and I have a funeral to attend tomorrow,so all in all..I am back to stay as a permanent resident..NO MORE HOLIDAYS FOR ME…(snigger).

  I really dont like this time of year. The first winter storms start to move in and im stuck doin schoolwork once again. We are only starting december and cabin fever is already kicking in. The sky is beautiful and my new camera is just dying to be taken out, but im trapped in schoolwork. Only a couple more weeks till freedom. I cant wait to start some winter photography.

  OMG look at the time …......... it’s 2-13am and I’m still here…....... still uploading photos…...... OK I need to go to bed I have to be up in about 4hrs, to put my Mum’s taxi hat on. I don’t usually work on a Thursday but I have to finish some year end paperwork before I have my week off, so I will be working at the log cabin tomor oops I mena later today. I say log cabin as I do a little extra paperwork once in a blue moon and the guy i work for had an office built onto the side of his house , it looks like a log cabin LOL. Anyway I have to pack for my holiday, get directions to get there, make sure I have plenty of memory cards and rechargeable batteries. so finally bubblers I;m off to bed…...just have one more upload first… yes, yes, just the one. Goodnight all :))))))))

  A sequence of photos taken over a 15 minute period as a new day began. Bemm River is located on the shore of Sydenham Inlet, at the eastern end of Cape Conran Coastal Park. First I’ll try set the scene for you. In March 2005 hubby & I packed our 14-year-old son and my in-laws into a hired Tarago van and set off on a roadtrip. We live on the Gold Coast, Queensland and our destination was my hometown, Colac, Victoria. We were following the coast road and had a few stops to make along the way visiting friends & family, and doing the tourist thing for the in-laws whom had never been to Victoria. We stayed in Toukley, NSW the first night and caught up with friends who lived nearby for a BBQ. After our second day on the road we arrived, after dark, at Bemm River Hotel. We’d booked into their cabins for a two-night stay while we caught up with friends, and to give the in-laws some well earned R&R time. I woke very early the next morning, excited to be back on Victorian soil for the first time in 13 years. I’d never been to Bemm River before so I decided to go for a walk and have a look around. Luderick Point Memorial Park ~ As Day Breaks / 10 minutes later, the view across Sydenham Inlet from the jetty at Bemm River as I was Waiting For The Sun / 1 minute later, Sunrays l / 1 minute later, Sunrays ll / 1 minute later, Sunrays lll / While everyone else was sleeping, I had sat on a jetty watching the most spectacular sunrise I’d ever seen.

  I have been wanting to go out and about with camera/equipment at hand for some photography. But until a small silver tabby convalescent can be left to wander in the house without worrying bout him hurting his leg, I will have to put it off. sigh It’s a production worthy of DeMille for me just to run to the post office to mail something off to a good friend in the US.
