Named after a story, this log cabin sits next to a small loch in the Scottish Highlands, not far from Inverness. After a week of thretened snow, it finally settled overnight, allowing this photograph. With the addition of the snow, the log cabin gives a sense of it belonging there. Also, it would feel homely for many people. / 50% of the proceeds will go to the Aigas Trust, a charity providing environmental education to children and to those wanting a career in conservation. / Featured in the Canon DSLR group. One of my twins in front of the same building as seen in another one of my pictures titled, “Hideaway”. Considering the colors, I was trying to get a happy shot. However, he was upset because he wanted to go take pictures of a baby gopher with his own camera. I told him to just act as he felt and snapped this shot. Well, that is, after he said “This is the last one, Mom. Then I’m done”. Sometimes you have to let them call the shots. ;)
