A face speaks a thousand words. This woman I met at a hospital in Congo. She was in the hospital for treatment away from her home, a hospital that was basic by our standard but better than she ever had lived in. You could see her sadness and yet you can see her hope. May be life after she is healed will be better for her. If only I could see her again to find out.

I found this black and white image of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco California presented a very different feeling from the normal color images that I have. Often the black and white qualities of an image generate their own special interest.
